Academy of the Holy Family

The Academy of the Holy Family, an accredited Catholic secondary day and boarding school for young women, is located in the New England countryside, just 2 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from NYC. Owned and operated by the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church (www.sistersofcharity.com), the Academy has a rich tradition of educating young in excellence for 150 years. While offering our students a challenging academic program which includes both honors and Advanced Placement courses, the Academy fosters a family spirit within its student body.

School Notes

  • The Academy recently purchased a house next to the Academy, and it has been refurbished and prepared for nine students to live in it during the school. Seniors and some juniors live there to prepare themselves for college and independent living. Two Resident Assistants (faculty members of the Academy) live there as well.
