Villanova Preparatory School is located on 127 acres in the Ojai Valley, 80 miles north of Los Angeles and 15 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. Founded in 1924, Villanova is the only co-ed Augustinian boarding school in the country. Founded in the liberal arts tradition, the curriculum seeks to provide the student with the skills necessary for admission to any college or university in the Unites States, and to live successfully in a world of rapid technological and social changes. Emphasis is placed on effective communication and study skills, critical and interpretive thinking, and the ability to make rational, informed judgments. Advanced Placement and Honors courses cultivate the college preparatory curriculum. For international students, our English Immersion with Support (EIS) program offers a transition to the college preparatory curriculum. Resident students enjoy the use of the school athletic facilities, wireless internet technology in the dormitories, full-time dorm directors, 60 computers in 5 computer labs on campus, after school and weekend activities. Clubs, activities, community service, athletic teams, campus ministry and the Augustinian core values of Love, Truth and Unity, round out the Villanova experience.
